YMCA explores expansion as Austin grows

AUSTIN (KXAN) — As Austin grows, changes keep coming. The YMCA said it was exploring options for its nine locations in the Austin area as a part of its 2030 strategic plan.This is a way for the Greater Austin YMCA to keep up with Austin’s expansion while meeting the community’s needs, according to strategic communications and public affairs officer Sean Doles.“Austin is undergoing explosive growth,” he said. “In order to keep up with that need, the greater Aus
