Woman seriously injured in fall from Mount Bonnell

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A woman who fell 50 feet from Mount Bonnell has been rescued by helicopter.
Austin-Travis County EMS say the woman, in her 40s, was in verbal contact with emergency crews before being rescued. EMS and Austin firefighters were called to the scene at 7:13 p.m. Thursday.
Medics say the woman has potentially serious injuries from the fall. She was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge.
