Woman killed in South Austin shooting

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police are investigating a deadly shooting early Sunday morning in South Austin.
Austin-Travis County EMS says medics they were called to reports of a shooting around 2:22 a.m. in the 4500 block of Walton Heath Circle near Onion Creek.
Paramedics arriving on scene found a woman with a gunshot wound. She was taken to South Austin Medical Center in critical condition.
No other information is being released at this time.
