Woman ejected, killed in I-35 crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A woman in her early 20s was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 Wednesday morning. The southbound lanes of I-35 from Oltorf Street to Woodland Avenue have now reopened.
Around 2:23 a.m. Austin Police received several calls about a rollover crash. Multiple witnesses say they saw the car speeding before it crashed into a retaining wall.
Police believe alcohol and speed played a factor in the crash on I-35 and Oltorf (KXAN Photo/ Gigi Barnett
