Woman dies in southwest Austin motorcycle crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A woman has died following a motorcycle crash in southwest Austin, Monday.
At around 6:13 p.m., Austin-Travis County EMS tweeted that medics were performing CPR on the woman in her 40s, following the crash in the 6800 block of Southwest Parkway. The crash with a van happened just east of William Cannon Drive.
She was taken to South Austin Medical Center where she later died.
EMS said to expect delays and closures on Southwest Parkway following the crash.
