Woman dies in Hwy 80 wrong-way crash

CALDWELL COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A 61-year-old woman is dead after a wrong-way crash on Highway 80, near Old Bastrop Highway, Tuesday afternoon.
Caldwell County police say the driver of a 1997 Mercury, Diane MeGee, died at the scene around 3:25 p.m. MeGee was driving northbound on Hwy 80 when she crossed into the southbound lanes and hit a Jeep causing both of the vehicles to spin several times, according to police.
