Williamson County shatters record for first day of early voting

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Williamson County shattered the previous turnout record for the first day of early voting.
As of 6:15 p.m., more than 17,000 Williamson County voters cast ballots, according to Chris Davis, elections administrator for Williamson County. That’s compared to around 9,300 on the first day in 2012.
