Williamson Co. runs out of paper, can’t issue marriage licenses

GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — Some consider it the happiest day of their lives. But for residents of Williamson County, they might have to postpone their nuptials after issues with the county clerk’s office.
The Williamson County Clerk’s Office ran out of marriage licenses about two and a half weeks ago. Staff members say they’ve had more marriages this year than ever before. However, they knew they were short on paper about a month ago.
