Westlake beats Katy to make third straight state championship game

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Westlake Chaparrals defeated Katy 45-14 in the state semifinal to advance to the 6A Division II state championship game next Saturday.
It was a battle of unbeatens, but it was Westlake who showed why teams have struggled to hang an "L" on them for the last 39 games.
Jack Keyser, who has had an outstanding year at running back for Westlake, started the scoring off with a 48 yard touchdown run to put the Chaparrals on the board 7-0.
