Watercraft ban on Lake Austin for Labor Day weekend

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two weeks into the start of the school year will have many Austinites heading to Lake Austin for Labor Day weekend to catch some of the last rays of summer sun.
The Austin Police Department Parks and Lake Patrol Unit are warning lake-goers that using personal watercrafts, wet bikes, and motorized surfboards will be banned on Lake Austin for Labor Day weekend.
Not all the fun has been banned though, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards can still be used on the lake. Mo
