Water main break shuts down MLK Jr. Blvd. near Airport Blvd.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard is shut down between Airport Boulevard and Harvey Street due to a sinkhole and water main break, according to Austin police.
Officers say the 3000 block of East MLK is closed in both directions due to the 12 inch water main break. Austin Water crews were able to turn off the water around 7 a.m.
Police say there have been no crashes or injuries from the break.
