Watches issued as Tropical Depression Harvey intensifies

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The remnants of Tropical Storm Harvey redeveloped into a tropical depression over the Gulf of Mexico and could reach the Texas coast on Friday, according to the First Warning Weather team.
The National Hurricane center issued numerous watches for the Texas coast and into south central Texas. A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for Fayette County. These areas are shaded in pink.
