Uvalde CISD police chief could be fired in a week

UVALDE, Texas (KXAN) — The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District said Tuesday the school board will hold a. Aug. 24 meeting to discuss possibly firing district Police Chief Pete Arredondo.
A district spokesperson said the 5:30 p.m. meeting will be open to the public and be held at the Benson Board Room at 601 Dean St. in Uvalde.
