UT student, staff member assaulted by attempted car-jacker

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man has been arrested after assaulting a University of Texas student, staff member and several UT police officers Thursday night around 8 p.m.
A UT student was grabbed by the man on the 2000 block of Robert Dedman Dr. on campus. The girl screamed for help which a UT staff member in a nearby university vehicle heard. The staff member attempted to distract the man from the student so she could get away.
