UT president denounces hate groups after protesters busted on campus with lit tiki torches

AUSTIN (KXAN) — University of Texas President Greg Fenves is responding after a group of people held a demonstration on campus overnight.
He said the university is committed to free speech and the exchange of ideas among students, employees and visitors. However, Fenves said the campus isn’t open to non-campus groups. And if they refuse to leave, then they will be arrested.
