UT Austin sees record number of freshman applications for Fall 2025

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The University of Texas at Austin marked its third consecutive year of receiving a record-breaking number of freshman applications, according to a news release from UT.UT said the applications increased nearly 25% for the Fall 2025 term receiving 90,562 applications from Aug. 1 to Dec. 1, the release said.
