US Army intensifies recruitment for new National Guard troops

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The U.S. Army is stepping up its recruiting efforts aimed at what it calls the new generation of prospective National Guard soldiers.The “Uncommon is Calling” campaign is made up of five films featuring real soldiers in emergency scenarios based on Army National Guard missions.“I didn't really see military in my future at first,” said Sergeant Claudia Napier, who joined the Tennessee Army National Guard as a military police officer.“After
