TxDOT plans to eliminate stop lights from Loop 360 main lanes

AUSTIN (KXAN) — TxDOT is looking at a new plan to get traffic moving on Loop 360, but the plan could take more than a decade to complete.
One big part of the plan calls for building a series of overpasses to eliminate stop lights on the main lanes of Loop 360. Another goal: adding a lane in each direction on the iconic Pennybacker Bridge.
