Two women critically injured leaving Comal County Fair

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (KXAN) — Two women are in critical condition Monday morning after they were hit by a car Sunday night.
The incident happened on East Common Street in New Braunfels around 9:30 p.m. Police say three members of a family were hit after leaving the Comal County Fairgrounds. A man who was hit was treated at the scene.
According to police, the family was hit by a truck driven by a 59-year-old man. Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
