Two-thirds of Americans to make returns after Christmas

AUSTIN (KXAN) — After a weekend full of gift-giving, many Americans will spend the next few days going back to the store to return the items they received.
Retail sales jumped more than 4 percent compared to last year, according to initial estimates. Online shopping spiked 24 percent over the holiday season.
However, with all that spending, there will be some returns. According to the National Retail Foundation, nearly two-thirds of Americans made a return last holiday season.
