Two of APH's COVID metrics are now in Stage 5 territory

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two of Austin Public Health's COVID-19 metrics are now above the threshold required to move to Stage 5 in the city's risk-based guidelines.As of Monday, an average of 66 people have been admitted to the hospital with COVID-19 each day over the past week. The Stage 5 threshold, as set by APH, is 50 hospital admissions per day.APH did not publish daily numbers over the holiday weekend, but data released Monday shows the Austin area crossed the Stage 5 threshold on Dec. 31.KXA
