Two major I-35 construction projects break ground Wednesday

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two major projects on Interstate 35 begin Wednesday in an effort to reduce congestion.
The Texas Department of Transportation will break ground on a round-about at 51st St. This will be the first round-about on any highway frontage road in the state. Crews will also create an interstate bypass lane for drivers who complained that getting to Airport Blvd. took too much time.
