Two deadly crashes caused by medical issues in past week

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police say two fatal crashes in the past week were caused by medical issues. Neither death will be considered a traffic fatality by the police department.
On Saturday, Oct. 22, a driver in his 60s died after crashing with a Capital Metro bus in Northeast Austin. Austin-Travis County EMS performed CPR on the driver after the crash in the 4600 block of Pecan Brook Drive in northeast Austin, but the man died at the hospital.
