Two dead in Tyler plane crash

TYLER, Texas (KXAN) — Two people are dead after a two-engine plane crashed near Tyler Pounds Regional Airport Thursday morning, KETK reports.
The Piper PA-31 Navajo crashed shortly after takeoff and was located around 8 a.m. in a grassy area nearby.
The victims’ identity has not been released.
The Department of Public Safety and the FAA are investigating the crash.
