Two Compass Banks robbed in the span of a few hours

LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) — The Leander Police Department is looking for a man responsible for robbing a bank Monday morning.
It happened at the Compass Bank at 201 North U.S. Highway 183 at around 11:20 a.m. When police arrived, the suspect already left the scene. Witnesses tell police the suspect walked west from the bank and drove off in a 2000’s model tan or gold Mercury Maquis with a vinyl top the same color as the vehicle.
