Two bodies found in southeast Austin motel room

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police are investigating the deaths of two people in southeast Austin, Thursday afternoon. Police say the circumstances behind the deaths are currently unknown.
Officers were called at 1:06 p.m. to the La Quinta Inn at 1603 E. Oltorf St., just east of Interstate 35. Hotel management called 911 after two adult occupants didn’t check out of their room.
