Turning drier and hotter as highs close in on 100º

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Today was the hottest day of the month so far as highs pushed into the middle to upper 90s in Austin. A sun/cloud mix continues as we head into this evening along with a low rain chance, even along and west of I-35. Most of the showers, however, will be in our eastern counties.Low rain chances continue until 9 or 10 tonight, but the vast majority of us don't see any rain today.
