Triple semi crash shuts down I-35 in South Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police said Tuesday that a crash between three semi trucks has caused the closure of the northbound lanes of South Interstate 35 at Oltorf Street.
The crash happened just before noon and, as of 3 p.m., police say the northbound lanes will be closed until at least 5 p.m. According to a KXAN photographer at the scene, one of the trucks was carrying concrete beams used on highways.
