Traffic snarled after overnight I-35 construction late to wrap up

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Some Interstate 35 construction late to finish overnight will cause some heavy traffic delays for drivers Wednesday morning as some lanes are still closed.
There is a huge backup from Slaughter Lane to Stassney Lane on northbound I-35. TxDOT says they are working to re-stripe the lanes of I-35. The road is now completely open, but the residual delays are still strong with up to 30 minutes added to your morning commute.

The road is expected to be completely reopened
