TRAFFIC ALERT: MoPac bridge will close for construction

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin drivers will need to find an alternate route Tuesday night during road closures for construction.
Starting at 8 p.m. the northbound MoPac bridge will close from US 290 to Loop 360.
It is a part of TxDOT’s project for a new pedestrian, bicycle bridge through the Barton Creek Greenbelt.
The closure is expected to run through 5 a.m. Wednesday morning, but could be extended if necessary. Road signs are in place alerting drivers of the closure.
