Tracking the winter storm as it sweeps across Central Texas

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Temperatures dropped rapidly behind a strong arctic cold front that barreled through Central Texas. Temperatures were even dropping 20º in one hour late Monday night. Some Hill Country locations were below freezing before 11 p.m. As of 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, Camp Mabry fell right to 32º, with a few surrounding areas waking up to reports of light freezing rain and sleet.
