Tracking a once-in-10-year cold snap coming to Texas
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Rain and thunderstorms inundated Central Texas Monday morning. Heavy rain at times produced more than one inch of rain from southern Blanco Co. through the I-35 viewing area. Heavy downpours were also noted in our eastern counties. A few stations had more than two inches of rain, topped by 2.52" at Gilleland Creek near Manor and 2.45" at the Colorado River in Austin.
