Three storm threats in Central Texas through Saturday
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Extensive cloud cover has kept temperatures too cool to develop severe thunderstorms in our area, especially from Austin westward through the Hill Country. Clouds are breaking east of I-35, warming temperatures and providing a chance of developing strong to severe storms this evening.From I-35 eastward is where we may see isolated severe thunderstorms develop now through 9 p.m., with the potential of hail, damaging winds or an isolated tornado.Strong storms possible after 5 p.m.
