Thorndale ISD to close Wednesday due to threat

THORNDALE, Texas (KXAN) -- The Thorndale Independent School District said it would cancel school Wednesday after a threating comments made on social media.
According to note posted on the district's Facebook page Wednesday morning, Superintendent Adam Ivy told parents said the threat was sent to a student on Snapchat who reported it to their parents.
The parents alerted the district which began working with law enforcement.
