Emerson, who attends Fort Worth Christian High School in North Richland Hills, hit .508 with eight home runs and 55 RBIs for the Cardinals this season, helping lead them to the TAPPS Division II state championship game. He stole 34 bases in 35 attempts with a 1.549 on-base plus slugging percentage as the top-ranked recruit for the 2026 class by Perfect Game.
