Texas hospitals face staffing shortages as COVID hospitalizations double

On Tuesday, the state reported the positivity rate hit a record high for the 11th day in a row, sitting at 34.4%.While positive case counts are no longer the best metric to gauge the pandemic, hospitalizations in the state have also doubled in just 10 days.
