Temperatures plummet midweek behind strong cold front

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Another wild week of weather expected here in Central Texas with a blast of frigid air sandwiched with a couple rain opportunities.Despite the cold start, this afternoon will be fairly pleasant with mainly sunny skies, dry conditions and mild temperatures (low 60s).Tonight will be much milder than the night prior with increasing low clouds, fog and drizzle helping to keep temperatures up.
