Temperature roller coaster ends with widespread freeze

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A much colder (and for some, wet) start to the work week courtesy of a potent cold front that pushed through just after midnight this morning.Today will be noticeably cooler with temperatures only warming to the mid- to upper 50s.
