Taylor ISD bus crashes, driver of SUV arrested

TAYLOR, Texas (KXAN) — A Taylor ISD bus driver is recovering after a crash on Loop 397 Thursday morning.
Taylor police say a man driving an SUV, identified as Tony Sorrells, Jr., crashed into the bus in the 1000 block of Loop 397/Carlos Parker Blvd. No children were on board the bus. The crash caused the bus to roll across the grass median before coming to rest upright in the southbound lane.
The bus driver was taken to the hospital and was released several hours later.
