SWAT takes man into custody after standoff at Austin Walmart

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin SWAT took a man into custody Wednesday night after a SWAt standoff at a north Austin Walmart.
Police evacuated the Walmart on the North Interstate 35 service road southbound. That's just north of Parmer Lane.
A family member called 911 and told police the man had warrants and was behaving erratically. Officers tried to get the man to come out of a vehicle but he refused so they called the SWAT team.
