SWAT standoff in east Travis County approaches 12th hour

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A SWAT standoff in eastern Travis County is approaching its 12th hour.
The sheriff’s office says a man in his 40s has been barricaded inside his home on Hibbs Lane — a few miles south of U.S. 290 between Manor and Elgin — since around 8:24 a.m. No evacuations have been ordered and deputies believe he is alone inside the house. SWAT officers have been in contact with the man.
