SWAT situation happening in southeast Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police are working a SWAT situation near the Del Valle area Thursday afternoon in southeast Austin.
Austin police say it was originally called to a home in the 5400 block of La Loma Lane, which is off of Pearce Lane, just after 1 p.m. for an undisclosed reason. The SWAT team was later called in to assist.
No other details have been provided. Police are asking people to avoid the area.
