AUSTIN (KXAN) - The day dawned overcast for much of Central Texas. A mainly clear sky was reported in parts of the Hill Country.
A cold front moved south during the overnight hours. A dry north wind dropped dew points from the 50s and 60s areawide to 9:30 a.m. readings in the 30s and 40s from the Hill Country eastward to north of a line from Blanco to Austin to Rockdale.
