Student News Now: Texas State expands free tuition program for incoming fresh

In this week’s episode of Student News Now on KXAN+, Texas State is expanding it’s Bobcat Promise program, extending free tuition beginning with the incoming Fall 2027 first-year student class. First-time freshman students in Fall 2027, who graduate in the top 25% of their high school class and have a family adjusted gross income of $100,000 or less, will qualify for free tuition and mandatory fees.
