Student detained after Cedar Park High lockdown released

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Cedar Park High School was on lockdown Tuesday afternoon after reports surfaced that a student had a firearm on campus.
According to a letter school officials sent to parents, the report was false.
Police were called to the school shortly after 1 p.m. to investigate the report. Cedar Park Police said that they had two students in custody, but had not located the weapon.  The students were later released. Investigators say they are looking into whether th
