Strong winds to affect Central Texas

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The day dawned with a mostly cloudy to overcast sky. A moist flow comes from the southwest ahead of an area of low pressure moving through southern Arizona. Clouds will continue to stream into Central Texas throughout the day and night.
A mostly southeast wind will gust from the mid teens to low 20s. Highs today will peak in the upper 60s to around 70 from the Hill Country to I-35. Highs in the low to mid 70s are likely east of I-35.Light rain will begin late tonight in the Hill
