Storms possible into this evening; record heat

AUSTIN (KXAN) — We had record warmth in Austin on Saturday with highs surpassing the previous record high of 96 from back in 2003.Record high set on SaturdayIsolated severe storms have started forming well northwest of Austin with the the potential for a few to pop-up in the Hill Country this afternoon and into the early evening. It's not out of the question that a storm or two could drift closer to the I-35 corridor, but the highest rain chances focus on the Hill Country. LIVE CENTRAL TEX
