Storms exit, but clouds linger on Friday

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A complex of thunderstorms Thursday afternoon largely missed the Austin area and Hill Country, but dropped torrential rainfall adding up to 1-3 inches in parts of Bastrop and Lee counties. An LCRA rain gauge near Upton measured 1.80", while radar estimates in Lee County exceeded 3 inches. A Flood Advisory is in effect for Lee County for minor flooding from earlier rain.
