Stage 4 water restrictions in effect for west Travis, north Hays counties

AUSTIN (KXAN) — An emergency repair on a 24” transmission main on Thursday has triggered Emergency Stage 4 water restrictions in select neighborhoods in Hays and Travis counties.
The transmission main delivers water to customers along western Highway 290 in Hays and Travis counties within the West Travis County Public Utility Agency (PUA) service territory.
