Southeast Austin SWAT situation ends with suspect in custody

AUSTIN (KXAN) – Austin Police said they took a man into custody without incident following a SWAT situation in southeast Austin Saturday night.
Police said it happened at the TRIO Apartments in the 2300 block of South Pleasant Valley Road just north of East Oltorf Street.
Police said that the incident started in a different part of the city when they responded to a call for a domestic violence assault in which the suspect was brandishing a knife. Police did not say if anyone was injured, b
